If you have a good groundsman he will know how to install great drainage on the diamon to endure that the team can play in all weathers and not be flooded off the field.

For effective soakaway systems, the inspection chambers are connected by pipes between them. The entire soakaway system must be constructed in such a way that it has the ability to self cleanse without developing blocked drains. Appropriate gradients are used to accomplish this. It is essential to test the drainage system properly before allowing its use with a full and important baseball game. The tests must be conducted in between the inspection chambers to allow each part of the system to be thoroughly checked.

The laying down of drainpipes should be done in indents in the ground. The standard trench depth that is used is between three hundred and five hundred millimeters. When the sewer system passes under a walkway, car park area or the field of play, the pipe must be enveloped in concrete to protect it. To begin laying the lines, first excavate the trenches to the necessary depths. Carry out grading towards the tanks or sewers to ensure water flow. Maintain a slope of one in four for the excavated channels to avoid future drain cleaning problems. It should be ensured that the foot of each trench is packed close and rammed. Use pegs to set the levels in the trench bottoms.

Maintaining straight lines is essential while laying down the drainage pipes. When the pipes have to be fixed on a slope or towards the building, join the sections with sockets. The drainage system should be placed on a solid, smooth and flat ground. A good adhesive for the joints should be used for joining the male and female sockets. Read the instructions that come with the adhesive carefully and make sure that all of them are followed well. The pipe should be thickest in the area where it is being connected to the inspection chambers. Clean any debris from the pipes.

Thorough inspections are carried out on the drainage pipe before it is laid in the channel. This is important to make sure that there is no leakage. Be sure to check the foundation contains the socket recesses to accommodate the external shape of the drains. The hooks must be as stunted and small as possible. The two ends of inspection chambers- for entry and exit- must be evenly finished to the proper slope. The system is then covered with soil after all joints are complete. Make the final connections to the sewer or septic tank. After this connect to the utilities to complete the drainage.

Once done look forward to a seasons uninterrupted baseball and perhaps a league title?

My cousin was killed in a car accident in 1993 and in 2001 a baseball diamond was dedicated to him through a local park district. We as a family are going to do a baseball game in memory of him in a few weeks and I would like to put a large memory box together. I am planning on taking lots of pictures and i want to record the family playing the game. Also, we are having t-shirts made up. Any other ideas? Other things we could do, or make? Ideas for a memory box that i could make or buy? Any ideas are great!

Seriously. I’m not joking. I’ve been studying this for some time. Not academically or anything like that. If you look at cops and the way they talk and look and then you compare them to many baseball players, it is very similar. Like they got the whole strong silent type thing going on. They look all beefed up (sometimes from illegal substances) too. And they got those military looking haircuts going on. Watch an interview with a baseball player or a baseball manager once and close your eyes. You could swear it is a cop talking about baseball or something.

the hall of fame voting? I realize this is a very complex subject but it does seem that many of us who follow baseball closely and have researched the game, understand that there are serious problems with the way players are selected. Clearly there are players who belong in the hall yet because of cheap back door politics and hard feelings, these outstanding players will not get their just due. Is there any possible way that we, the fans, can make ourselves heard? For that matter, will anyone listen?
