How do American Baseball Fans Feel about the Toronto Blue Jays?

Im a Canadian fan of the Blue Jays, and I’m just wondering about the opinions of americans on the only Canadian baseball team.

Curious about the opinions south of the border.

    nothing
    its just another mlb team.

  2. Ronald Bevan Said:

I Don’t Care Much For Them.
    Personally.
There Just Another Major League Team in Another City.
    In My Book.

  3. Jamya Crabtree Said:

They are just another team. Nothing really special to me.

  4. Martin Wills Said:

I don’t really follow them that much, but I do remember they were really good in the early 90’s. They still occasionally talk about Mitch Williams blowing the world series for Philly in 93.
They’re not great this year, but they do have a winning record.
Other than that, I’m with everyone else. They’re just another MLB team.

  5. Maria Dodd Said:

I don’t really like them at all.

They’re just, well, too plain. The only thing special about them is Roy Halladay.

They are my favorite team! Where I grew up had football and basketball pro teams, but no hockey or baseball, so I started rooting for Blue Jays and Maple Leafs, it helped that they were good then too. I live in NYC now, and you do see people wearing Blue Jays hats. But they never show the games unless they are playing the Yankees.

woah normally south of the border means mexico

and i just think of them as another team

I like em a lot! I think their pitching staff/bullpen is sorta underrated. Most people only know the Doc. (Roy Halladay is one of my favoriite pitchers!!)
They just need some bats to make the team much better. They’re in such a tough division.. and its hard to break out (Tampa bay did it i’m sure it’ll only be a while until the Jays or Orioles get on top ^^).

let’s see.. who else is underrated? lol

John McDonald is having a tough season but i think he’s pretty good defensively. I remember when the angels were playing against em he made some nice plays :)
    Joe Inglett
Scott Rolen is good as well!
Overbay is a solid player too
Rios is also a great player! He’s been a bit off the start of the season but it looks like maybe he can push to .300. He’s been doing great second half. (plus he’s really cute ^^ i’m a big fan of his)

They’re actually one of the my favorite baseball teams. They’re a good team, but they just need to step up their game! I’m a fan of almost all of their players. Roy Halladay, Jesse Litsch, Adam Lind, Alex Rios, Vernon Wells, Overbay, and Scott Rolen are all great players.

  10. Cash Booth Said:

I think they are a great ball club. In fact, I like a ton of their players. Scott Rolen, Vernon Wells, John McDonald, AJ Burnett, Roy Halladay, and BJ Ryan. I think all of those boys are studs. I wouldn’t be at all upset to go see my team play Toronto.

i kinda find myself rooting for them sometimes but that’s probably because i love the city (im from california and am an angels fan). ive been to jays games in toronto, nice stadium in an awesome location, good fans who deserve better. toronto’s sport teams arent good right now so this is time for the jays to take over the sports scene.

  12. Celeste Greenfield Said:

Can’t say I really think about them all that much (I’m a National League guy) but I do like Roy Halladay. He’s one of the few guys in this era of pitch counts that could give you 9 innings.

  13. Leticia Irwin Said:

They are a pain in the B___ because they always beat the Tigers.

  14. Zack Southern Said:

Indifferent. It’s just another team. I took a tour of Skydome recently. Very cool.
