What city has the best baseball fans?

Although Im a Cardinals fan, I think we have the best baseball fans. It doesn’t take rocket science to figure out that Boston is the best sports town. The Red Sox have always been my favorite AL team ,so looking at the big picture, ths Sox won the series, the Pats are making football history, the Celtics are doing great and what a great hockey team in the Bruins. Boston has it all!

I’m a Giants fan, but I think that the Cards and the Cubs have the best fans.

  2. Avery Woodcock Said:

What makes a fan great when compared to one that is not so great? Also, can you give me an idea on how to evaluated tens of thousands of fans in thirty major league cities so that I can respond to this question?

  3. Isis Mcnaughton Said:

Cubs fan has the best even though most of them are drunk

  4. Bailey Fielding Said:

New York does. Go ride the 7 train to a Mets game or a B, D or 4 train to Yankee Stadium.

Hang out in front of MSG before or after a Knicks or Rangers game.

Go to any sports bar in the city when the Giants or Jets are playing, and you’ll see what I mean.

  5. Christian Prescott Said:

New York has the best baseball fans, not saying much for the Mets, but the Yankees truly do. This year you seen that the Yankee fans are not on the banwagon because we were out there in the snow, in April of all months for it to snow, and we weren’t having a good season either, except, we still sold out, no contest, new York has the best baseball fans. Boston fans are racist… and they get their asses kicked in their own city in front of their own bars by us.

  6. Mya18 Said:

Chicago (specifically northsiders)…any team whose fans stick by them without winning a championship for 100 years deserves at least this credit.

  7. Drew Crowe Said:

Definately not Baltimore…the only time we sell out a game is when the Red Sox or Yankees come to town, and only 25% of the people there are actually rooting for the Orioles. Oriole fans sold out when the Nats came to town when tons of em started rooting for the Nats. And whenever anything goes wrong we always blame it on the owner. I swear we’re the only fans that are worse than Yankee fans.

  8. Ruby Kirkham Said:

I think all teams and cities have fans who are true

  9. Yahir Moss Said:

The red sox and the Cubs. They were both tested with many years of defeat and still remained loyal, selling out their respective parks often.

  10. Rodney 165 Said:

Yeah good point about the sox. But I really enjoy the brewers fans. I have been to a lot of games up there and every time they are great fans who really enjoy the game. Also, Milwaukee is an easy ball park to get to, unlike Boston where it would be in the middle of the city kind of. But yeah you are right about boston being the best sports town…but if you haven’t aready I think that you should to go a brewers game at home. Yeah my father is a huge cardinals fan also, he is always wanting to go to a game atleast once a year, and we have…but the tickets are pretty hard to get.

  11. Madalynn Macdougall Said:

Boston, even though I hate them. The have stuck with their team for 86 years. Even though a lot of them are annoying, bag waggin, people they are still pretty. Loyal. Also the Cub fans.

  12. Keagan Steel Said:

i would say that new york, boston, then chicago in that order.

  13. Shaniya Purcell Said:

For everyone saying the Cubs there are a few things wrong with this picture:

    1) 25% of the attendance is from Iowa. Wrigley is where Iowans go on vacation
    2) The park was never full (or even anything close to full) until it was made into a yuppie beer garden
    3) Go to a Cubs game and see how many people are paying attention. The answer is not that many.

  14. Gilberto Potts Said:

Chicago! Cubs and White Sox fans.

  15. Reginald Connolly Said:

    the red sox

and for the people saying NY i ain’t bad mouthing u im just pointing out

EVEN YOUR MEDIA HATES YOU GUYS! arod did this, isaiah should be fired, coughlin should be fired

ur fans say the same thing, i can’t think of one time (besides eric gagne) that the red sox fans have ever booed one of there own

the yankees boo arod, abreu, giambi if they go 0-4 in a game

PATHETIC, NEW YORK HAS THE WORST FANS especially for baseball, there the exact way george steinbrenner is win win win or you’ll boo boo boo

    GO RED SOX!

  16. Amari148 Said:

The best pure baseball fans are in St. Louis, hands down. Other towns have great fans, as well., but only in STL, have I seen the fans routinely CHEER the opposition for a great play or extreme hustle.

  17. Darius Edmonds Said:

I think that fans all over give their teams great support, you get knowledgable fans at every stop. I have had great experiences at almost every stadium that I have been to and I have been to most of them….except any in Florida.

  18. Ada82 Said:

    St. Louis and Chicago.

Both citys go through tough times and they STILL but attendance numbers up.

  19. Danna Chatterton Said:

You are the best fans. St. Louis isn’t my team, but it’s one I respect a LOT. Not only have they won more World Series than any other NL team, but the fans are the only lot in pro sports that I know of who will actually applaud the other team when they do something great. Not only are they the best sportsmen, they KNOW their baseball. AND — it’s a family ball park. Nothing wrong with that.

  20. Reid Wheatley Said:

I dont think red sox are the greates fans out there. Simliar to the yankee fans.
Though everyone hated the yankees. I think thats why everyone loves the red sox.
So i kindof agree with you anyways.

  21. Ingrid Stone Said:

Yankees and Red Sox fans are passionate about their teams but they ruin it for everyone when you go to a game. Not really family friendly atmospheres at either ballpark even when you are rooting for that team. I don’t like the Red Sox at all but I’d rather go to Fenway than Yankees Stadium and listen to arrogant New York fans.

  22. America63 Said:

Cardinals are my least favorite team in baseball… but I have to agree… You guys are always classy… I’ve been to several games at old Busch Stadium and was always impressed…

  23. Kathy Fitzgibbon Said:

    Definitely boston

  24. Layton Clatworthy Said:

Ny has the best fan’s.We can’t even answer this question without having hateful boston fan’s criticizing our opinion. When the Red Sox make the Forbes Magazine as grossing $1.2 BILLION that is what the franchise is worth. The Mets came in 2nd and BOSTON came in 3rd! $$$$$$$ speaks louder then some peoples opinion! Oh and for the record? here are some nick names boston fan’s named their players. Edgar Rent a Wreck, NOSEMAR GARCIAPARA boston fans booed Gagne. He was offered a contract for this yr,he said NO THANKS! All fans booo bad players. That goes for boston too.

  25. Dominique Nicholls Said:

    Minnesota and Boston

  26. Malik Salt Said:

Boston by far has the best fnas. I’m not just saying that because im from there but the fans there are intense. Everyone who lives there is a passionate fan for at least the Red Sox. Everyone is dovoted to Boston sports.

  27. Ryder Hodges Said:

Boston, go to a Red Sox game and experience the love

  28. Konnor 128 Said:

Bostons fans for baseball, basketball, and hockey but Pittsburgh fans for football.

  29. Jeremy Stockton Said:

    Boston, baby!

  30. Tiffany Gledhill Said:

from everything i know you guys in st louis have the title of best baseball town signed sealed and delivered, no city comes close
boston and new york love to crow about how great they are, problem is, noone else agrees
st louis has that title easily

  31. Gretchen Hackett Said:
