why do baseball fans spend money to support millionaires but won’t donate to a worthy charity?
baseball fans don’t care about helping good causes. they just want to make baseball players richer.

Baseball offers more enjoyment than donating to charity for most people. The same reason you buy potato chips, name brand clothes, a nice car, go to the movies, etc. Any money spent on things you don’t need could go to charity. Why are you just going after baseball fans?

This is a downright idiotic question. One of the stupidest I’ve seen in a while.
The two actions are not mutually exclusive.
A person may or may not do both and it has nothing to do with being a baseball fan.
Why are you spending time online asking dumb questions and not working at a soup kitchen or sorting through your house to find things to donate to charity right now?
You don’t care about helping out causes, you just want to belittle baseball fans
See how that works? An emotion charged question that means, in fact, nothing.

Come on BUG. Here in the Philly area we are huge supporters of fighting breast cancer.

Mr. Bug, there are actually a lot of baseball players who donate money to charity, foundation, or a fundraiser.

This is like 10th question froom you about why baseball players and fans do not support charties. Quit bashing them! THey have to work for their money too and can do W/E they want to do with it. If fans wanna buy tickets to a game let them do it. If they wannna donate it to charity, then let them donate money to charity, people like to do what they want to do with their money

I totally disagree with you. Last August, the fans of Boston and New England, donated over $4 million to the Dana-Faber Cancer Institute. The tele/radiothon has been going on for about 4 or so years, and the Boston Red Sox have supported the Jimmy Fund (Dana-Farber) for over 50 years. Before the Sox supported them the Boston Braves did and when the left for Milwaukee the Sox took over.
